A few years ago, we adopted "with each sunrise, there is new hope" as our slogan. This message has a two-fold meaning for us. With respect to our walk with God through Christ, it represents His faithfulness and the assurance of His promises. "The Lord's loving kindnesses indeed never cease. For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23). "For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).
With respect to New Hope Baptist Church within our community, it speaks to our history of faithfulness and service. For over 50 years, our church has offered God's message of hope to the people of Southern Indiana. We look backward with fond appreciation for our heritage- the saints who sacrificed to birth our church and support it through the years. And we look forward with great faith and vision- that God will help us fulfill our destiny in Him, and that we will be found faithful in our generation.
